This is the absolute danger of organized/centralized institutions. They are ripe for take over just by infiltration of the top leadership. Small, independent churches fair much better. We see the same principle in industry and government.

Very true. Here is a quick story. I researched the topic of Counter Reformation infiltration of Protestant churches some years ago. This led to a look at Presbyterian theological seminaries, 12 of them, McCormick in Chicago being the main one. The curriculum director there was a Notre Dame graduate. I found that unusual. Upon further look, he was leading the way in "still grappling with the ethical and theological issue of homosexuality." Now, doesn't that sound like infiltration? The Bible is clear. A few years later, I attended a Presbyterian. The central organization was in shambles, completely taken over by the adversary. That church, once well established, now meets in a warehouse. I ask you, isn't this true anecdote evidence of something?

Thank you for a sad but important story to hear. This is not a isolated tale. AGENDA is the WHY for the reason of infiltration. They "highjack" the ship and use it for their purposes. The people sitting in these organizations begin to see the shift. Some go along, many leave, but the structure falters. We only need to look at the UK and Western Europe to see where we are headed spiritually.

We may find ourselves in warehouses and homes, like the 1st century churches, before this ship is recovered.

There is another element involved in this also that should be addressed. We know that the human body is designed to resist most any bacteria and virus as long as it is fit, and well nourished (nutrition). I think the American church has been susceptible to these parasites for a long time. Cancer gains a foothold in like manner. We do hold a large measure of responsibility in this. Mainly through neglect, which is not a small offence for the believer in the sight of the Almighty. Judgement comes to mind.
