I firmly believe that confiscation of citizens firearms will never be done. The National Guard members would be confiscating from their own family members, and friends. They themselves also probably have the same firearms in their own homes. They would turn on the Governor and not obey orders due to being unconstitutional.

You'd be surprised what the military can/will do with the proper..."motivation." Propaganda abounds in that sphere. I should know. Spent 9 yrs in the Navy following orders (without question), even though I knew something was "off." When you're faced with a court martial and hard time at Ft Knox or Ft Leavenworth for disobeying orders, you'll do just about anything short of cold blooded murder. Dont think for one second that the NG, which is more beholden to their individual States, won't go door to door confiscating guns.

YOU are sworn to uphold the constitution of the United States PERIOD...... The second amendment is a right of the PEOPLE. Any service member that does not uphold that right is otherwise and considered a traitor of the U.S. and will be dealt with accordingly. Remember, there are more of us than there are troops. ........ It will not happen......

I don't know how it is today, and I'm fair sure it's not a whole lot different, but back in the day, as a USMC infantryman, I am absolutely sure that our officers and senior NCOs knew that immediately after issuing us weapons and ammo for such a job, they were dead men.

The military is ran like a teenage boys' hockey team in which the coach, or those in the upper parts of the CoC, has absolutely free reign to do whatever they please to ensure that their subordinates follow orders. Reluctance to participate in acts of degeneracy will result in your lost of "respect" within your company, and that they will label you as a "black sheep". You'll be refused for promotions and given a tough time.

The military is a glorified welfare scheme in which the government saves money by ensuring that the military personnel are demoralized and depressed after service, resulting in them committing suicide, or for bonus points, murder-suicides, particularly against family members.

Anyone who disagrees with me is quite frankly a shill, or a member of the military who's been gaslighted into believing that they are doing the right thing for the freedom of Humans (Aryans).

Do yourself a favor and learn a proper skill.

The Tyrants' will never teach you how to overthrow them.

Door to door gun confiscation will never happen. They may try it, but after a few of them get shot they'll refuse to continue.

Virginia Democratic leaders abandoned their gun confiscation proposal Monday following a grassroots outpouring of opposition to gun control across the state.

Governor Ralph Northam (D.) and incoming Senate majority leader Dick Saslaw (D.) said they will no longer pursue their marquee plan to ban the possession of "assault weapons."

This news report from the 12th says the dems have apparently backed down on confiscating law abiding citizen's guns due to protests even in blue districts. They are now aiming to pass laws preventing the purchase of guns with more than 10 round clips, prevent any one teaching how t use a gun etc and take guns owned by those with felony convictions They control both chambers but only by one vote. If two dems back down they can't pass the bill.

https://ussanews.com/News1/2019/12/11/virginia-democrats-abandon-gun-confiscation-as-pro-freedom-groups-surge-in-state/

And this report says it wasn't even the Governor, who brought up the National Guard. The governor just said if Law enforcement would not enforce the laws he had other options but that they were not there yet and he would cross that bridge...

https://ussanews.com/News1/2019/12/14/governor-coonman-issues-threat-to-send-national-guard-to-confiscate-guns/

I hope they continue to protest and stand strong against even the restrictions they are trying to pass.

This is deliberate provocation aimed at turning the ideological civil war into a shooting war.

I'm not saying there hasn't been voter fraud to get these people in office, but there is at least some number of morons who vote for them. I'm just saying, don't forget about them because they are the real problem.

Too many replies on the top idiot who thinks what happened in the soviet union could just never happen here.

Remember Hurricane Katrina.

Remember that the police turned into bandits

Remember that the military entered exclusively to take guns away from law abiding citizens so they could not defend themselves against the bandits.

They did not render aid of any kind. They took citizens weapons and left. One of them confessed on air after the fact, he couldn't believe that he did it, but he sure fuckin' did.

That is all.

Remember Waco and Ruby Ridge. Waco happened because the government didn't like it that the group has a cache of weapons, and Ruby Ridge was entrapment and they executed a family.

California passed very quietly and quickly passed laws this year banning their repeaters unless they pay thousands per repeater per year to CalFire. I think they place other limitations on their use as well. https://www.newstarget.com/2019-10-14-california-ban-ham-radios-unless-pay-fees.html

Go watch the interview youtube.com/watch?v=ia67dppQPYQ of that sheriff who said he was going to deptize a bunch of people... About half way through the interview (23 min) the guy literally says it will only be so you can keep a gun in your home to use when HE calls you up! You have to go through a background check. It is literally a gun registry from what I can see. Also he said he is in no way standing up against the government or against gun confiscation. Also it costs hundreds of dollars to do it, like always. It will be nothing but an information collection program so they know who to go wack first. Hell, they will probably "call you up to service as a deputy" and then under swat team survelience, confiscate all your firearms... BE VERY CAREFUL WITH ALL OF THIS... FUCKERY IS AFOOT.

Am I the only person who saw the words "allegedly" and "reportedly" in the beginning of this? IOW there's a rumor that the Va governor is planning on this shit...?

Not gonna get too excited till I see something more concrete... and to be honest? I hope they try this silly shit. Maybe some dipshits will get off their asses if there really are gun confiscations because it seems to take something akin to dynamite to get the average American off the couch these days.
