He pushed for negative interest rates and you think he’s good for the economy? You think his trade wars (I support these whole heartedly) are good for the modern economy? The markets are overly inflated due to the loose monetary policies he is a fan of. Like every chump before him he seeks to kick the can down the road. Do a little research into the recent liquidity crisis where the fed had to step in with billions more and tell me it’s healthy. Politics and the fed fucking with market forces causes most bubbles. The housing crisis was due to laws in the 90s which forced banks to loan to people who had no way to realistically pay them back.

Every time POTUS gets a lower rate the market surges. Why is that? It's because everything we've been told about what makes a health economy is good for those who hold its purse strings, and not for us. Of course the market is not a good reflection of an economy's health. Trump is only using it as a healthy sign, because we've been cudgeled into believing that it is.

He's also using it to discredit the Fed by showing that rate hikes are only good for the creditors that make up the Fed, and not good for the nation. And when that lesson has been learned, and rates go to zero he's going to show how a nation does not need a central bank. This is why Andrew Jackson's portrait is over Trump's desk in the Oval Office -- Jackson killed the second central bank. The final blow will be to replace our fiat currency.
