so true, you were smart to see the issue before you moved into a home. i feel blessed to have a well also, its 735 feet deep, have not had a problem with drought. it is a big deal. i studied the dust bowl era, it was horrible, back then folks depended upon rain water. plus now Cali is going to tax everyone on the city water system. it is all tied to politics now in Calif. there never was enough from the beginning.

And the politicians get in line to approve more subdivisions and development, rake in the political donations, limit lawn watering and car washing, demand toilets that flush on 1 gallon of water (so you have to flush 2-3 times!), etc. They have created this mess. I read somewhere that the original CA water system was designed to support something like 20M people, it now supports 40M without any new modern infrastructure.

so true in our near by down they raised the water prices and demanded a 30% reduction in usage. then the city approved 1000's more home and apartment to be built. How is that logical?

you are correct, we are dependent upon rain. Many years ago Calif copied the Mormons in Utah and built dams, but the politicans and powers at the time lied to to the people and stole thier money and did not deliver the necessary water, Southern Calif still does not have enough. Cadillac Desert is a good book written about the politics and corruption.

current Calif system designed to line the pockets of Newsom and the deep state, Yet they blame the fake climate change. lol

but seriously the farmers are getting the short end of the stick and they are the ones growing food for the whole world.

what a mess, we need Trump and Q to rid all of our states of corruption. I have faith it will happen, i hope it happens before they burn everything up.
