You are probably right, sarcasm is rough for some people. Should have put air quotes on unfair but I would have gone past the title limit. The Uconn and library post didn't have images.
More like Justified persecution...but the principle of religious freedom is important enough to allow for conflicting applications. However, I suspect this is another attempt to subvert that principle under cover of 'tolerance and diversity', translated as Intolerance for the majority values and a demand for upside-down homogeneity.
So if they had their way, christians would be treated like witches, and vice versa. Cultural subversion as an act of war (on whose behalf?)

Cheers for your comment. This was also a mass student, faculty &staff email send all to promote. Not sure why their religion is allowed to be pushed but anything related to Christianity is in violation. Our tax payer funds hard at work.
While they also align with Muslims and hail Islam as a nice, "peaceful religion" and are allowing it to be peddled in schools to little kids... helping the Islamic takeover along and the "normies" go with their heads in the clouds, never seeing it, or maybe just never caring. Who would ever have believed all this 10-15 years ago?

"A special UCONN-Hartford-sponsored event will be held at Hartford Public Library Saturday, Oct. 19, 12:30-4:30 featuring three of our faculty: Walt Woodward, Larry Goodheart and me, Pegi Deitz Shea. Plus numerous notable authors, poets and a priestess! Come learn about Connecticut's witch persecution that predated salem's; experience a trial through a dramatic poetry performance, listen to the discussion of how women are being demonized today and and participate in a wiccan samhain ritual. Guests include priestess Suzanne Wingrove, poet, drummer and author of the awarding play, Maleficia: A wonderful Discovery of Witches. She is a founding member of the covenant of unitarian universalist pagans. Keep the channel open. No artist is pleased.... "There is only a queer, divine dissatisfaction, a blessed unrest that keeps us marching and makes us more alive...." Martha Graham"
