Forgiveness definitely has its role. But it has its limits. Resentment is like drinking poison. I'm sure you have done nothing wicked, when compared to the behavior of the elite. Is their any forgiveness for (((them)))? The Epstein's and Bronfmans and Junkermans of the world?
God says he forgives but i think for redemption and to be right with God the people in the deep state would have to show remorse, and humility and want to turn away from their wickedness (repent).
Some may plead for Gods mercy but many will be too deep in their evil to want redemption.
the God of the Hebrew Scriptures forgave Manasseh and David. Their list of sins and crimes were pretty extensive! Even King Solomon who some feel became an apostate in his older years! Yet Jesus referenced him in a positive light. That being said, Jesus held out pretty strict judgement for the rabbis who hurt other people with their judgement and self righteousness and their worship of the devil.
Repentance is essential for forgiveness in the biblical sense.
