It occurs to me that if reporting is accurate about the disgruntled intelligence officer mole (I refuse to use the term whistle-blower) having been a part of the NSC staff, might there be a connection between this IG filing and Bolton’s recent and sudden departure as National Security Advisor? I will accept a connection with Brennan but that doesn’t rule out a potential Bolton involvement over Trump’s reticence to get involved in military confrontations.
Bolton wanted missiles flying, Trump said ‘No’ and suddenly complaints get filed with the IG.
Pure speculation but would appreciate other views.
