Universal suffrage was a mistake. Women are emotional children, they should not be able to vote. Yes I know some good ones exist, does not mean that all women should have the right to vote because some are not illogical manipulative harpies. We are not a democracy either, we are a representative republic, with votes limited to land owning white men, as originally written. Land owning white men are much more likely to have a family. The wife, can influence the husband on how he should use his vote, hope she is one of the good ones rather then the manipulative ones. The idea is that a vote goes more to a family then even just a man at that point and the politicians have to cater to whats good for families. When they gave the vote to everyone it allowed politicians cater to different groups on different issues...leading us here to clown world.

I would agree to an extent, but women who own property, investments or business are probably better at forming thoughtful political opinions and can actually think critically. I think a vote should be earned by/proportional to how much you contribute to the community (working) and how many taxes you pay (property and business taxes).

I would apply this to both sexes at this point in time, jobless unmarried cuckbois are turning into emotionally infantile "women" as we speak. I'd argue to take their votes away as well. I really like your idea about each "family unit" getting a vote. Never thought about it that way, but most men were married or were going to marry back then.
