The Lost Boys (1987) "vampires" are behind the disappearance of children in a small town. Corey Haim / Corey Feldman both featured.

Making entertaining 'fiction' out of child abduction and sexual abuse, starring real-world child actor victims. Talk about hiding the truth in plain site, winking at the audience.

What a thrill it must be to transgress society's 'moral hangups' over feeding on stolen children, how avant-garde and progressive../s.

They have been reveling in their perversity under the pretense of edgy horror kitsch. Is this why vampires have been so prominent a theme for the last few decades? Do they yearn to brag to us about their 'daring' exploits? Have we been complicit all along, giving them permission?

They probably did it for a multiple of reasons. 1 they have no imagination so anything they see they make happened just like it did 2 it keeps the kids in line because they know if they stray or say anything they will be just like the victim in the movie 3 by putting it out there, if somebody says something they can say is no, your story was a movie and your honor this person has a mental issue

Umm I think it is fairly well established here on the boards that what they do needs to be made known to society, and once we don't object, we consent.
