I remember around 2008 conservatives were trying to police each other on saying President Obama. Needless to say, it didn't least.

Yea well, some say that the appearance of decorum was the only thing Obama was about, that and he could read from a TelePrompTer.

Doing the right thing is correct in season and out of season.

I cringe when I hear the left call him Trump. To us , he is our beloved President Trump.

Happy Independence Day to you all!

I have been becoming aware of this myself and at times guilty.

The trouble for me is - President Trump is not my president, I am UK based.

I want to show respect and have used 'D.J.T.', '45' when referencing him.

As an American; would you say 'Prime minister Theresa May'?

Many people from many countries are here.

I wish President Trump was Prime Minister Trump and in charge here but he is not.

How do you as an American, refer to other countries leaders? Im guessing by their first and/or last names.

EDIT: POTUS is my new 'winner'.

Thanks v/Qd4Action

Yes, since POTUS is short for President of the United States, that would be correct.

'45' also but I see that as too quick and POTUS more sincere.

This is a great thread for ironing out the WW respect for POTUS!

GEOTUS would be even better!

No, because Theresa May is a traitor to her people and doesn’t care what they want. President Trump loves not only Americans, but all the people in the world who want a change from what we’ve been living in the last 50 years.

I think of her as prime minister since it is her title, just as President Trump should always be addressed

Word! That always bugs me too. Such as them referencing "Trumps parade". Mr. President Trump is a God send.

I feel ya on this. Some of these slimeballs in the media insist on calling him Trump or Mr Trump and plain refuse ti call him President Trump. Pathetic denial mindsets at work.

John Brennan does it too, that's where I've particularly noticed it. When I pay any attention to him, that is.

An excellent counter to all the MSM spin that continues endlessly about Hussein. Just to say it flies directly in the face of all the Newspeak.
