Agreed and understand, I have no issue with expressing oneself here in voat or in the outside world except when someone is standing like they are the guide of righteous before God Almighty and using profanity. If an individual professes to be wearing the armour of God, calling for prayer of the faithful for any cause and any environment, their tongue should not be guilded by the one they are praying against (after all, this war is not a war of the flesh but of the spirit, of good versus evil, light exposing darkness etc....).
We live in a 90% francophone area and the locals swear without even knowing it, cais la vie. It is not the matter of language, it is the matter of one who frequently calls the believers to pray for POTUS and America but then destroys it with ungodly language. If it is okay to speak like that and profess to be a believer (Christianity is a religion, 'believer in Christ' is a relationship) do the individuals use this language in the church, behind the pulpit, during bible study or when comforting the elderly, the widows, the sick and the needy or the children?
Matthew 12:36-37
I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak, for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.
