Im not trying to disrespect the boy but due to the amount of lies we've seen in the news and even leaking into public school text books, is it at all possible for the hospital management to be liberal enough (and vulgar enough) to report the boys condition as better then hes actually doing, to help sway public opinion away from hating the nigNog dindu-nuffin waste of life, and into the other direction? With hope instead of bad news?

Certainly possible, especially in uber-liberal Minnesota. I'm just going off of what the organizer of the GoFundMe page posted - said his wife has been best friend's with Landen's mother since they were kids. So source is really coming from a friend of the boy's family rather than the hospital. I would highly doubt the docs would make things look better to the family than they really are. In today's litigious society, docs certainly cover their butts by telling families the worst which can be expected.
