And now we have 70+ UK MP’s lobbying the Home Secretary to honour any extradition requests from Sweden for Assange to answer to (previously dropped) accusations of sexual assault. Notable that no extradition request from Sweden is actually in place yet, but would indeed seem UK government is overly keen/anxious to honour Sweden’s potential request but not the actual existent extradition request from the US

Assange’s imminent arrest was international news. If Sweden wanted Assange they had plenty of time to prepare an extradition request.

I hear you. Just seems like the UK is pre-empting Sweden in favour of the US. And as for his imminent arrest being international news, and yet only RT was present to witness and film his exit seemed strange too
