I don't know. Seems a stretch.
The first 'watch dates' used marker 1 and marker 2 and it ended up being the first watch gave the date and the second watch the time.
Now we have a new set. I think marker 1 is still the date, however, it cannot be 4:49 as that is not valid. However, it can also read as 11 before 5. In other words, 4/19. That just happens to coincide with the little date number on the watch face as well as the day that the Revolutionary war was started.
