We also need to cut it to Mexico, slam the border shut, and halt all money transfers to Mexico.

I agree, its time for hard ball. No more Mr. Nice guy. Why should we give money to people who use us and take advantage of us. Use that money on America. I think we should quit all foriegn aid. It never goes to the people it just goes into the pockets of Politicans and kick backs to DS candidates.

No, we need to charge a 30% tariff on money transfers to Latin America and use it to fund the wall, pay for drug treatment, or put bounties on the heads of problem illegals.

I would upvoat this 100 times if I could! The DH and I have always said that's how Mexico would pay for the wall! Hell, even 20% would cover it, just charge a tax on all funds being sent back! I'm not worried about drug treatment, I just want a wall!

We should suspend all aid outside of the USA. Until we take care of OUR veterans, OUR poor and suffering, OUR Americans devastated by "Natural" disasters. No more money

110% right. The obvious change of tactics when it comes to Mexico should be a clear indicator to anyone paying attention, something MORE is going on.

  1. Add Mexico to the list
  2. CLOSE THE SOUTHERN BORDER
  3. ARREST Soros and his ilk

Yes. And withdraw any money we still give to UN projects, which are all corrupt. I heard the UN had provided credit cards for the migrant travelers. That money probably originated with us somehow.

The next step is to triple the wire transfer fees to those countries.

The illegals who work here get paid in cash, pay nothing in taxes and send all their money back to these countries.

Meanwhile, they ass rape us by gaming our generous social welfare system, trafficking in drugs and raping children.

Fuck all those countries and fuck their illegals.

Tripling the fees would just make companies like Western Union richer... they were big supporters of the Clinton Global Initiative and have little incentive to stop people from sending money as each transaction makes them money. Rather we put strong rules and enforcement in place to ensure only LEGAL citizens, travelers, or immigrants can send money. And maybe tack on a a couple dollars per transaction for the Border wall. :)

Need to definitely shut down wire transfers of money from US to Mexico as part of shutting down the border

They need to make it significantly harder to send money back via money transfer (Western Union, MoneyGram, etc). It's too damn easy. They simply need to add and enforce a legal status requirement. You can't prove you are a citizen, green card holder, or have a valid visa, you don't send money. Period. We know the cartels use the money transfer companies to launder and send their funds back over the border. It would be a great secondary benefit to cut that off.

There are already underground / black market money transfer outfits. This would start exploding with this kind of regulations... then we go after those guys and confiscate all the funds for the border wall.

Or even add a special 'Border Wall Tax' on all money transfers to Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, etc.

The State Department announced in December that the U.S. would mobilize $5.8 billion in public and private american investment to these three countries.

What does this mean though? Cut off 500mill of one sort of funding but still putting ten times that in via another avenue?
