I haven’t downvoted any of your comments, but the fact that you downvoted mine (which was entirely accurate from both a Biblical and historical perspective and also written in love and from a place of concern), shows me how angry and defensive you are. If what you believed was really true and good, why would you need to feel angry and defensive? The truth will set you free, right?

That’s a big problem with Catholicism- they were kept in the dark and forced to listen to someone else read something in a foreign language and so most of them don’t actually know what’s in the Bible. We are just trying to help you. But don’t take my word for it - read the Bible for yourself. There’s a lot in there that pastors in every denomination won’t touch because it’s too political and they don’t want to lose out on the collection plate goodies.

Project much? Have you ever been Catholic and attended a Catholic church? Your opinion is no better than anyone else's opinion. I saw no anger or defensiveness in her reply. None. Projection. I doubt if any Catholics think they were FORCED to listen to the priest. How do you know that no Catholic people have read The Bible?

If that person paid ANY ATTENTION they would see I quote the Bible all the time.
