I find it odd the tornados in Alabama coincided with their tightened abortion legislation. I thought "we" had control of the big weather machine again.
If we do have control, is it possible the crazy weather is the "real" weather of years past before manipulation.
We received snowfall this year comparable with 1996, it had been getting increasingly drier every year between then and now.
Also, because of the drier habitat people built in areas that had been swampy. As it remained dry, developers brought in fill and built homes. Now those areas are seeing some flooding with the snow melt.

We have been to Whistler the last 2 years in January and more rain than snow both times. Obviously not picking the right weeks. Hope it comes back for you, it is beautiful country up there.

Just my observations from the Pacific NW.
