Quote from this article:

“(Brazil’s) Education Minister Velez Rodriguez has said that not only schools but family and church are threatened by what he called a “crazy globalist wave.” Last week, he denounced his countrymen’s misbehavior while traveling outside of the country, telling Veja magazine, “Our kids and teenagers must receive citizenship education, which teaches how to act according to the law and morality.”

And of course, Brazil’s teacher unions are against this...just like they would be here.

I was hoping that during our shutdown the RIF would include restructuring our corrupt education unions. I am sure Saul Alinsky's version of the SDS socialism takeover of our colleges can be undone. It needs to be.

Hi, again. 😁

I hope you are right about undoing the college takeover. Now this is heresay, but, someone I was very close to, knew someone that was at Kent State that fateful day. This person said that the SDS was passing out guns from the trunks of cars. So they've been at this a long time. Way before the 70's. (Ever read the book excerpt on the communist plans that was read into Congress in 1963?)

Anyway, I believe the tradgedy really happened. I also believe it was manufactured to occur.

On another note, I am glad to see common core getting the boot in some schools. May more follow.

Also read about Betsy DeVoss studying European school models. She has also talked about merging the departments of education and labor. Facilitating more options for vocational ed. She's also big on charter and private schools.

I suppose if the DOE can't be abolished, the merger kind of makes sense. Lord knows our school systems needs something!

End rant. 🤯

The communist infiltration of our Educational system is many decades in the making and that truth/story needs to become a national conversation and understanding. The teachers unions are a big part of the problem...at least in the “progressive liberal” east and in California. It will take more than a government shutdown to turn it around but at least our numbers are growing.
