There is no place in the Art of Peace for pettiness and selfish thoughts. Rather than being captivated by the notion of "winning and losing," seek the true nature of things. Your thoughts should reflect the grandeur of the universe, a realm beyond life and death. If your thoughts are antagonistic toward the cosmos, those thoughts will destroy you and wreak havoc on the environment.
- Morihei Ueshiba: The Art of Peace

We cannot become the monsters we are fighting.

The penetrating brilliance of swords Wielded by followers of the Way Strikes at the evil enemy Lurking deep within Their own souls and bodies. - Morihei Ueshiba: The Art of Peace

How would you handle the situation if a pedo was caught molesting your child?

I'd smoke them in mag dump of lead (I'm quite capable in the Tao of the combat rifle). The point is, when taking life, don't have anger in your heart. Your heart should be calm and at peace. Warriors avoid anger in a fight unless you want to get hurt. Ends don't justify means. Always take the high-ground. There is a fine line between taking out a threat and becoming a monster yourself. Mind that line always.
