Ron Paul isn't a leftist. He is actually extremely central.

Or let me elaborate.

He is extremely right when it comes to fiscal policy. The furthest right Washington has seen in probably centuries.

But he is extremely left on social policies.

In my opinion he is strict constitutionalist.

Or libertarian.

He believes in freedom at it's utmost.

That you are free to choose how to live your life and government should not interfere unless you're freedom is to affect others freedom.

That's why he is so fiscally conservative. He doesn't believe we should be taxed to pay for others, it's slavery, and theft. It's not true freedom.

In my opinion Ron Paul is or would be even better than trump on most things.

But trump has the star power and is a genius on the economy, and Ron is one of the top geniuses on the economy by far. But trump has a good business understanding, he is more get shit done than Ron who is more by the book.

I think if trump took Ron as his VP it would be epic.

Ron and his son Rand as well and trump are the best we have in Washington... Don't consider there to be a huge difference in them they are mostly on the same page...

He sounds interesting, like I'd agree with him on many things. I'd like to read his views on different policies, like welfare, social security, retirement, the national debt, and government's role in those. But it looks like ronpaul.com is under maintenance right now.

He is against welfare mostly, thinks of it as theft. He feels it should be voluntary and not legislated. Or should not be federal and should be left up to the states to decide. (See tenth amendment)

Social security he thinks is a mess that never should have been, but understands that now that it's there we have a responsibility to maintain it in an honest fashion. He is super conservative so he is constantly railing on the national debt, and the federal reserve. He is the top enemy of the federal reserve and would shut it down in a heartbeat. He even spearheaded the end the fed and audit the fed campaigns. And yeah Ronpaul.com he is not in control of. He wants control back. It still mostly follows his same principals but is ran by his fans and not him directly. He is also associated with campaign for liberty and I think he has much more say in that site.

http://www.campaignforliberty.org

But of course it's still ran by those he has delegated the task to as he isn't a web admin..

I think the reason why Ron Paul dot com is down now is because he is pushing for it to be returned to under his own control.

He predicted the crash of the dollar twice. With amazing accuracy.

He started the tea party before it was taken over by establishment cronies when they couldn't silence it so decided to emprace the grassroots power of it.

It's almost like a founding father was reincarnated or time travelled and is living today honestly. He is the best of the best in Washington. Or was anyway....

I love Ron Paul as VP. MAYBE 2020 - sure would secure some of that independent vote!
