Even if one is never acknowledged by "rank" or "position" as a leader, we STILL must do the moral and ethical "right" thing. Even if no overt acknowledgement, one's example WILL have influence. To neither seek nor desire it, in time one may acquire it. We are not here to be served, but to serve. That mindset in itself will make you stand out. These days it is downright countercultural. Glad to be part of the counterculture. Godspeed!

A true leader does not demand recognition. Just because individuals are in leadership roles does not make them a good leader.

Amen, amen, and Amen!! Sometimes it makes them good "managers". /s
