Except for the unable and disabled, don't work, don't eat. Done!

Well, that is entirely Scriptural. "Neither shall ye work, neither shall ye eat." That then provides resources to those who truly need them. For believers, it is also not to be idle, but to earn your keep and shun other believers that ARE idle. "...have nothing to do with them." The intent is to empower people, not enable them for lives of sloth, theft, etc.... Hand up not a hand out. But, as we know, in this worldly system, it is to create a whole underclass of folks to hold up the enablers to further the communicrat agenda. Insidious and genius. I was very very happy to hear that when POTUS spoke about the farm bill, he also targeted this very system. Get people to work! Return to Scripture phrase above: set consequences. God/Jesus worked (still does). He was NOT a socialist! Do i hear an Amen?

Up-voat and amen! Many Christians whine about how we should be helping everyone. There is absolutely no Scriptural instruction for governments to help the poor. That is the responsibility of the church. The government does a terrible job and cannot keep track of who is actually in legitimate need and who is scamming.
