on top of that why the hell would they want a currency they can not seize or lock funds. there is no way they would give up that control they have built since they introduced fiat and can print at will

They did not seize his bitcoin even though thats how they worded it. In order to seize something you have to take it and if they took it then he had to give them the private key to access it which then is permission. you can not just take bitcoin unless you get access to the private key of the wallet it holds. the articles writtin on that our false when the\y say seized bc he had to knowingly give them the key to do so. most likely was needed to pay fines and all the things legaly and they said they would accept the btc as payment. the ropes they had to go through for that when if he has a bank account it would have been instant for them and zero hassle but just a slip of paper to the bank. try again

The US government seized bitcoins from the Silk Road when it was shut down and then auctioned it all off.
