These people used to be considered to have altered body perceptions according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Psychiatric Illness in the past (until 2012 I believe). And they were treated as having gender dysphoria. Now it is considered not only normal but parents are almost encouraging their children to become this way. It is considered trendy to not give your child a designated sex nor give them name that could go both ways. Basically for a lot of these people it is an illness or a way to seek attention. And for some it cannot be treated by allowing them to become what they want. Many still feel empty inside even after their sex changes. And as far as I am concerned it is doing these people a BIG disservice. PS I used to work in a state psychiatric hospital.

More than a disservice, more than transgenders, an agenda.
