Good question you ask. Three words (I am not jewish): Realpolitik, history and acceleration of peace. The first was coined by the late German chancellor Willy Brandt. It means one has to view things realistically, in other words acknowledge facts, not ignore them. Second, historically Jerusalem was always the jewish capital and thirdly, peace has eluded the region and is not going to happen until one deals with the deep state. Trump is one extraordinary man who thinks big. Very big. Much bigger than any president ever has. He knows that to move the embassy recognizes an important fact. Fact is Israel is in the region to stay. While this is obvious, no one has had the guts to support that in terms of policy (Nixon did that with his famous trip to China). Trump also knows that the only reason why there is no peace, is the meddling of Iran & the deep state, because they support Hamas, Hezbollah and other regional terror groups. That is also the reason why Lebanon is in such a mess. The Palestinians and Israelis would have peace tomorrow if it wasn't for Iran and the deep state. They want to keep the conflict going for the next 100 years. You eliminate Iran and the deep state and peace in the region follows quickly including in Lebanon. Trump knows all that and that is why he does what no other leader has been able to do, castrate Iran and kill the deep state. The embassy move was the official message that he was going to do that. Trump is one unbelievable genius and light years ahead of the rest.
