At the risk of making a seemingly odd comparison, I'm reminded of a new theory about the Roman Emperor, Caligula. Although he was undoubtedly a cruel man (unlike Trump), he may NOT have been insane. Caligula may have done what he did (like threatening to make his horse a counsel), for his survival. He used his 'insanity' to control others. Caligula held up a mirror to the Roman aristocracy to show them the absurdity of their own behavior. By doing so, he made them look ridiculous and let them humiliate themselves as never before.Trump, I think, is doing something similar. He's forcing EVIL to show their hand, forcing them to expose themselves and to ultimately destroy themselves. Yes, I would agree that TRUMP is one of the great minds of the ages!
