You have a point about deep state advice on this nomination, POTUS did say today at the press conference he listened to some people recommending Kavanaugh. I don't know why POTUS nominated him, maybe as a practice round, see what they pull on their own, so he can prepare for his real nominees. The DS has no problem sacrificing their own, the more valuable the sacrifice the more brownie points they get. I agree the Bush connection taints him more then anything. Either way, they are causing damage to POTUS on the short run, but will fail on the long run. If he gets in he'll probably try to follow the constitution and not make too much noise. If not, no big deal, he's not the brightest jurist of the land.

You could have a point..Trump appointed, then dems played every card they have to stop nomination, what do dems have the next nomination to throw out there? I like Kavanaugh, think he would be great SCJ, and don't think he did any of the things he is being accused of, but he was added to the list late....hmmmm

False allegations are false allegations. This may been set up to prove that it can happen to ANYONE since the dems still claim Trump has a bad past regarding women.

And what happens if BK doesn't get the confirmation? Another 2-3 month to see who does? Don't we need someone on Trump's side by Nov?

The D's don't care how much damage they do to real victims and survivors. Look at Cosby he got very lenient treatment.
Both abusers and false accusers should be dealt with more swiftly and harshly. Grassley is adamant on pushing him through, he can take the vote to the Senate.
