I am convinced that Marina Abramović is the mother of Biljana Djurdjević. This would be one of the reasons why Biljana's "art" is valuable... This is pure speculation from my side. I don't know if this has been mentioned before... If it has, I would appreciate some links.

this could be a son of hers

In 1976, after moving to Amsterdam, Abramović met the West German performance artist Uwe Laysiepen, who went by the single name Ulay. They began living and performing together that year.

there was a gap in her performances with Ulay in "79"

During an interview with a German newspaper, Marina said she'd never divide her energy away from her work by having a baby. She's had three abortions.

Doesn't mean they couldn't be related in someway however, because I think I just found their grandparents /s http://www.c-collection.org/files/profile/c74d97b01eae257e44aa9d5bade97baf/b55894240biljana_djurdjevic_03_8588.jpg

There is more than a passing resemblance. You may be onto something there.

I have never before heard this, but I am now thinking this seems a highly possible linkage... time to dig!
