Sure. However this was started on a highway in midst of a state park. Guy blew his tire and the rim sparked up in an area I drove through earlier on my trip to Eureka with a thought of damn this place is a tinderbox.
I am happy to a degree as most of us up here are opening our eyes to the fact that state government only takes care of themselves, the wealthy, or the illegal shitstains.
I am only arguing that Carr Fire was indeed caused by an accident. Now... how it blew up so fuckin quickly and then continued to do so raises a lot of questions.

You don't have fire season where you live, eh? Okay. So during peak fire season we cannot use our chainsaw after noon for fear of sparking and cause fires. Nor can we mow or anything else. A few yrs back a fuckin idiot drove through a grassy dirt road with a chain being dragged and caused a whole string of fires.
Source: I've lived in fire country my whole life. Now I keep saying I know nothing about down south and those "wildfires" but this one up here I know of personally. This area is my home. The people affected by it are my neighbors and those fighting it are our brothers.
You can spark up steel hitting on rock. Or asphalt. You ever see them cop videos where the perp is fleeing in his vehicle that only has like two tires left? Constantly throwing out sparks. And in an area of the coastal mountain foothills where wind is a factor? Oh and after a two years of decent heavy rain only for some hardcore dry weather to follow? Perfect recipe.
Edit: no edit but added thought - we cannot shoot our guns at the national park ranges afternoon too during fire season. Cuz of bullets hitting rocks or other and sparking a fire.
