I don't really have a story for this one. I did date a lady who looked similar and could sing these songs moderately well. But, I'd buy the lead singer a nice cup of coffee and ask her about her plants.

My wife and I both like the Cranberries and this song. However, it wasn't until we took a trip to Ireland in '97 that we realized what the lyrics were in this line:

It's the same old theme since nineteen-sixteen

We didn't appreciate how the Irish pronounce "th" and thought she said team (referring to the sides in the Irish revolution and especially the Easter Rising of 1916).

I figured it out because the video made it pretty clear. In 1973, I spent a half year as an exchange student in Ireland. So, I kind of knew the history and of the troubles and all that. My white DNA bits are Irish. It's a complicated story. ;-)
