Or in other words, they don't want you to monetise anything that's about:
Sexually suggestive content, including partial nudity and sexual humour
Violence, including display of serious injury and events related to violent extremism
Inappropriate language, including harassment, swearing and vulgar language
Promotion of drugs and regulated substances, including selling, use and abuse of such items
Controversial or sensitive subjects and events, including subjects related to war, political conflicts, natural disasters and tragedies, even if graphic imagery is not shown
So in other words, it looks like GamerGate videos are now basically unmonetisable.
This could cover a lot of stuff, almost anything can be considered controversial. There might be some big channels getting hit with this, which will kick up a shitstorm.
It basically means anything by h3h3productions is likely not going to be monetisable, since they do investigative reporting about Youtube 'celebrities'.
Political conflicts is vague, but could easily mean everything like the recent US elections, black lives matter, the recently finished EU referendum, etc. So no news sites monetising political coverage then.
And war... well, better not cover the situation in Syria then, because apparently advertisers don't want to be associated with war correspondants and people reporting on events in a war zone.
Tragedies? Okay, guess no one's gonna be discussing crimes or attacks on Youtube in the future. Great way to shut down amateur journalists reporting on things like say, the recent events in France.
Harassment could easily be exploited for anything discussing Feminist Frequency, GamerGate, that Korean GamerGate thing, the Alison Rapp firing, etc.
Violence I worry could easily be applied to games, TV shows, films, etc. Which means few reviews of M rated games like say, Call of Duty. Or Hatred, Manhunt, Mad World, Five Nights at Freddy's...
Inappropriate language can easily mean... well, anyone swearing in a review or Let's Play. Poor Angry Video Game Nerd.
