I agree, Linux mint is so much better than windows 7/8/10. Its bootup and shutdown takes seconds, most software is free, package manager is easy to use, there are multiple desktop editions (xfc, cinnamon, mate, etc), and once you learn the command line you have more control over your desktop.

Many people don't like inkjet printers, but I have refillable cartridges. They're aftermarket, naturally. They're translucent, so you can actually see the ink level inside. They're for my Epson, so they have a chip. The chip resets to say the cartridge is "full" after it's been out of the printer for 30 seconds, regardless of the actual ink level. I bought bulk ink one bottle for each color and two bottles of black. Each bottle is 100 mL and refills a cartridge around 10 times, depending on the cartridge. The ink can be found from about $13 shipped, on ebay.
