I subscribed to the emails for a year... bought nothing, not one thing. Apparently I'm not within the target range. Same goes for Woot! and all the other "daily deal" sites I've ever seen. Seems like a great way to spend money on crap just for the sake of spending money. shrug

Woot used to be great, but when it was bought by Amazon, it seemed to be lots of repeats. The bags of crap got pretty, well, bad as well.

The thing about the Gold Box deals is that there are a lot of good deals, but they're rarely on things that I want. I imagine there are some people out there that they appeal to, though.

Heck, I didn't even know Woot was bought... I think the last time I visited was ~2009 ish?

I'm not disputing the deals, just saying the same thing you're saying ~ nothing I would spend money on.

The sales are really hit or miss, but occasionally there are amazing ones. There have been some cheap solid state hard drives recently. Today is 50% off patio furniture. Sometimes it's a DVD that's the featured item.
