I'm learning to fly out of an uncontrolled field and have the self-announcements down pat. I've only been in controlled airspace once and my CFI handled communications for me. Does anyone have a guide of who to talk to when and what to say? I kind of get that with flight following you talk with the a nearby departure frequency at a controlled field. But if I fly from uncontrolled airspace and am landing at a class C airport, what do I say to approach? And would it be approach, then tower, then ground? I'd love to have some example communications end to end for various scenarios.
