I too am sad to see Firefox becoming more leaky of private user data. And lkme you said IceCat doesn't always work right on all platforms, that's why I've started using Tor Browser as my goto privacy enhanced Firefox fork.

i don't think too many people realize that Mozilla is a multi-million dollar corporation
from my research, and judging by the laundry list of ethically challenged mega-corporations they partner with, it's obvious that Mozilla could care less about your privacy
