I've been fasting for most of July, I had a few calories on the 1st and second but have been keeping to just water and tea since ~1 am Friday (smoked with a homie and couldn't say no to some toasted PBJ he made for me). It has been okay so far, generally feel weak, but alert. Less mentally restless than usual as well, which is really nice.
I want to go a full month, but may switch to juice fasting after 15 days to keep up strength.
One weird thing I've noticed is that my heartbeat feels, idk, stronger? Maybe it is or maybe I just can feel it more now that there isn't so much food churning about in my abdomen?
I haven't told anyone irl that I'm attempting this, but so far haven't had any trouble declining food and drinks. I even grilled at a 4th of July get together without feeling very tempted.
This isn't my first time fasting, but if all goes well it will be the longest. I've read that around day 9-11 of water fasting is when your body really gets into the swing of things (something about ketones) , any anecdotes about this?
