Wasteland Justice
Be nice. Be clean. Don't be stupid. Things will go smoother if you go by these guidelines.
Mods will only interfere with content that break site rules or aren't related to Fallout. Otherwise, post without fear, but of fellow Voat Dwellers.
Flairs
We are currently experimenting with flairs, so expect to see a lot of changes as we change names and categories!
Currently, here are the important ones;
- Overseer PSA (Mod announcement)
- GNR News Report (News)
- Modding (Mod related)
- Wasteland Humor (Jokes and humor)
- Enclave Superiority (For posts that act patronizing, be it towards FO3 or NV fans, NMA, /r/Fallout or even fellow Voat Dwellers. It's just a fun flair!)
- Distress Signal (Help and suggestions wanted)
- Discussion (Debate and conversation)
- Brotherhood Scribe (History and lore related)
- Holotape (Podcasts, music, art and video)
- Profligate (Profligates. Obviously)

Murkwater construction site is pretty shit also. It's a burned out house and a shed surrounded by swamp water. I think my favorite is the The island. Build area is huge yo! Plus it's a fucking island.
What platform are you playing on? There are a couple mods that add some walkways type items. If you're on a console you may have to just wait a little while for Bethesda to figure out when/how to kick the mods over to ya. Settlement Supplies Expanded & Homemaker help a lot.

Yeah, isn't Murkwater the one with the respawning Mirelurk Queen?! I tried building there but it was pretty awful. I mean Murkwater didn't even have a view. Just swampy trees.
I enjoy that island as well, but it's almost too much for me! Things like the Castle and Red Rocket are nice for me since I'm not super creative, I can just build around the established parts.
Also, you ever been to Croup Manor? That's an example of something too established for me. I can't build anything cool in that.
I have SSEX but I don't like it very much. I tried Homemaker but it kept crashing everytime I opened the settlement menu up so I just gave up.
I have this one mod called Spring Cleaning and I love it. It allows me to delete 90% of the garbage on the floor, ugly bushes, etc and I can use console commands to delete the other 10% stuff essentially.

She is going to respawn?! Lame. I went there last night to open that settlement and once I cleared it I immediately stopped giving a fuck because it was such a poor spot.
Yeah, I built a kind of inverted pyramid off the monument at Croup Manor. Most of my builds tend to resemble the ship from Epoch so I can minimize their footprints.
That sucks about the crashing. Somehow I'm running smoothly with only had 3 CTD's in FO4 (100 hours in), in FO3 and NV I'd crash after playing for an hour or two pretty consistently.
I've been keeping an eye on Spring Cleaning but haven't tried it yet. I was worried that it would make everything look too nice I guess. Maybe it's time to install it.
