I'm not sure how much I like looting no longer pausing the game. It was always nice in the middle of a battle when you run out of ammo and the enemies have just the right kind of bullets you need so you could loot them mid-firefight.

Nah probably not. I'm not ready to dig out the ol' pitchfork just over that. If the Pip-boy didn't pause the game on the other hand, then pitchforks might be needed...

One (small) thing you missed. Stimpack use is now animated.

Skills seem to be like Skyrim, use them to improve them.

Really? I've yet to read a transcript or listen to a recording, but what evidence is this based upon?

Not sure I really like that idea. Fallout's traditional skill system isn't perfect, but it does have one advantage over that of the Elder Scrolls series: it's never forced me to spend hours doing menial tasks just to be able to make that piece of gear I want. I fucking hate grinding in single player games, period. That's always my main issue with the Elder Scrolls. You're never going to be able to reach your potential unless you spend at least a quarter of your play time grinding. Conversely, in Fallout 1 to New Vegas, I always leveled sufficiently just by progressing through the game and could, as a result, have as much fun as possible with the game.

Eye witness. It has on screen for a few seconds. Many people at the presentation describe it like a Vault Boy poster with a column for each SPECIAL. I'm not too sure what they mean, no one has draw a picture yet.

Was in the crowd too, can verify.

It is a small thing, but I'll still need some evidence, such as a picture of a ticket or mask with a note attached. I need a reliable valid source.

I like the new skill system, even though I liked the old system as well. The new system means that we can't get a skill to 100 after 4-5 dings and it will also mean that to get certain skills to 100 will require a lot of work, how many computers will you have to hack to max out science, I imagine this is where the crafting system takes effect. I imagine you'll be able to progress repair, science and medicine by crafting certain items. Science for blue prints, repair to make it and medicine for making medical items, etc.

Not sure how I feel about some of these changes. Guess I'll see how they are implemented, glad I'm getting the PC version so mods will fix anything that sucks.

Super excited for Shelter though!

I'm sad it wasn't a light blue star.

If ghouls can interact with the environment like that I wonder if the PC can. One thing I think Fallout needs is some sort of cover system. Maybe not a traditional, over the shoulder one, but one where you can peek your head out in first person and get out of the way of incoming fire.

Eh, I don't think that's really necessary. I mean, I'm not against the idea, but I personally can't see myself ever using it.

I think it would be pretty cool. I always though combat in 3/NV was a little... simplistic? I think killing and dying should be easier and mechanics should make up for that.
