What's sad is that many times wood was used which decayed. We only get to see the few bone replacements that were done with stone, but because they did we have an idea of what many of these impressionist wood skeletal forms looked like.
T-Rex's having awkwardly short arms was charactature.
Only when dino civilization attained wealth could we see this ancient and traditional art form.
