A reply I wrote tonight after learning that people are charging stupid money for "bullet proof coffee butter" (because apparently butter in coffee is a thing) that would also apply here....
Humanity strives for homeostasis... a balance in life, a peace. Having apparently achieved that, we have made huge advances across the board....but i wonder if that's a good thing. Is life too easy now? It can't be a good thing that at this point in history, schmucks are paying ungodly amounts of money for butter to make their coffee special.
Good times create weak men. Weak men create hard times. Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times.
It's not hard to see where we are in the cycle.
People just don't have anything to worry about anymore so they make up shit to worry about. It's not that they necessarily want to offend, it's that they need an outlet for ... i don't know ... i suppose they need to strive for something that they can feel good about. In past times, it was simply that they strove to produce enough to live and grow. Or it was exploring and conquering ... or discoveries in science.
In today's society, everything is given to us on a silver platter; we're lazy, we have to search to find what to strive for. Life is easy; we have hobbies upon hobbies. For some of us, that leads to productive self improvement. For others like the fag in OP's photo, it leads to tearing down barriers to a more hedonistic life. As you say, a certain level of degeneracy is normalized, and these 'tards think they're doing the world a favor by directing their desire to produce and succeed into further degrading our society.
aside: fats + coffee is a pretty good energy drink if you are eating a keto or paleo diet or intermittently fasting and want to avoid an insulin bump in the morning. Frankly, any good quality butter is fine. If you want to go "grass-fed" for the extra vitamin K, that's good, too. There's no need for stupid money or special butter. (I'm agreeing with you)

What a shithole we're in.
