Has Brussels actually come up with any plan to tackle this? All I see is, 'oh no you can't build a fence! Stepping out of the Dublin agreement is not the way to handle this problem! Hungarians are so racist!' How about some actual solutions instead of useless "that's not the way you should be doing this"? This year Hungary has received 10 000 people a month. In a year, that would be equal to Hungary's 6th largest city. This is not sustainable for a country of 10 million, who themselves are well below the EU standard of living.

The EU overlords are not going to like this. If a country gets away with defying EU rules, what else is going to happen soon? Personally I think the EU will break apart in the next two decades. People are getting pissed off, and not just about immigration.

I find it amusing how Hungary initially loved the idea of joining the EU, so that they could off-load their many jobless (especially among their huge Gipsy community) on other more developed EU countries, and now that the tables turn, they want to get out of the deal. Well, of course this is not going to happen, but it would be great if the EU tells Hungary, "fine, you can refuse asylum to the poor refugees, we will take them and send you back the Hungarians that you have been off-loading on us!"

Doesn't France already do that with the Gypsies from Romania?
