Well both are technically. But the nationalism is a response to the fascism, need to be careful not to descend from the former into the latter.

I can't grasp what are you saying. Nationalism in response to Fascism? How is that?
Historically Fascism and National Socialism were responses to the rise of Communism, aggressively threatening societies of the first half of the 20th century, and one of the core values they held was Nationalism.
Not unlike today. The current mass immigration policies are essential threat to European societies, with modern day Communists (the Left/Liberals) raving mad and trying hard to shutter the existing order of things once again. Well, you know how it went last time...

The PC crowd (the leftists) are the fascists, literally authoritarians who want to strip rights from people. Because of the lefts anti-sovereignty ideology (as you obviously know with the immigration shit), nationalism is showings its appeal with the promises of protecting cultural and personal identity.
