I don't see any logic in their endgame being to simply destroy Europe. It makes no sense. They will ruin their own lives if that happens. The scenario I hypothesized in the OP allows all the puzzle pieces to make sense. Why the EU keeps allowing so many men in, why they are gag ordering the media and misrepresenting stats, etc.

It can make sense if the real rulers are not European.
