I agree, euro mayors giving their opinions on American politics is absurd.

Yes. It shows almost unimaginable arrogance.

How do you think the British would act if the Mayor of New York came out strongly on one side or the other of the EU Referendum. There would be uproar, and rightly so.

There was uproar in the UK just a few weeks ago when POTUS thought it was OK for him to give his opinion on "Brexit". And I distinctly remember how outraged American voters were when regular EUropeans thought it acceptable to 'phone them to tell them what EUropean preferences were in the US presidential race, 2000 and again in 2004. Actually, those phoners probably got GWB quite a few votes...So if any EUropean wants HRC to be elected POTUS: Start phoning US voters and encourage them to vote for Trump. And if you'd prefer Trump-urge American voters to vote for HRC. That's how THAT works.
