It is common in forums dealing with emulation to frown upon talk of roms, where to find roms, and so on. Will we see that here?

(no, I have all the roms i need atm, thanks)

Hallo everyone! Mod #2 checking in here. My specialty in emulation happens to be iOS and WINE Is Not An Emulator. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I'm your man for getting Skyrim to run on a Mac ;)

Haha, no.WINE Is (definitely) Not and Emulator.

I've been trying to figure out a way to get more Linux here without being pushy about it. And I figured people like nothing more than correcting mistakes on the internet, so what the hey? WINE is also a stepping stone for a lot of people who are transitioning between Linux and Windows, so it kind of falls under the umbrella of emulation... sort if. Depends on your definition of compatibility layers.

Any suggestions for a real emulator that's lower down in the alphabet? I was thinking Xeon, but I haven't used it in years and don't want to endorse something that is broken/buggy.
