What makes medical terms so intimidating also makes them easy to learn for anyone interested in learning. The word Esophagogastroduodenoscopy looks like a nightmare to figure out, but for anyone who knows basic medical terminology it's an easy term. Scopy is to examine and the rest of the word is just the path of the examining scope. Through the esophagus, stomach, and then the duodenum. All medical professions should have a good grasp of basic medical terminology, but it's also available for anyone to learn who is interested because you don't need a tutor or special classes to figure it out.
