  1. Be Constitutionally eligible.

  2. Fill out a form.

  3. Receive or spend at least $5000 on your campaign, either by yourself or through a team.

  4. Get on the ballot in each state, either by petition or by the Secretary of State in each state. It could be different from state to state.

That's really about it.

You'd have to check with each state's Board of Elections. Each state can have its own requirements.
