Pocket clips are amazing, especially on my Carhartts.
However, I've just lost my flashlight and my fountain pen is about ready to come off at any time. I have them clipped to the right thigh pocket which has an angled pocket and a flat pocket. Depending on the angle, the flat pocket can cover the bottom of the pocket clip. It seems that this helps prevent the main issue: pocket clips getting jammed open when rising from a chair. I think that's how I bent the clip on my flashlight and my pen.
My knife has a stronger design that seems somewhat better for this. I wonder if not all pocket clips are equal and some are mostly immune.
Or is there a better pocket to use? Or will I always have these problems?
