So I have a 7 month old Beagle Mix and he's not had much luck with dog food. Making things harder is I have Celiac (Yes, Medically diagnosed.) so I need a wheat & gluten free food for him.
Dog Foods I've tried:
Blue Buffalo Freedom - Squirts City with much butt scooting.
Orijen Puppy - Loose Stools (with and without form) and butt scooting.
Fromm Gold Puppy - Firmer, formed stools but still quite loose and less butt scooting.
On Boiled Chicken & Rice - he has Firm very small stools and almost no butt scooting.
I'm currently in process of trying Nutro Original Puppy Food we're on a 50/50 mix of it and boiled chicken & rice. His stools are fairly firm with still almost no butt scooting but I know it's fairly badly reviewed with potentially rancid fats and that it's major ingredient is likely rice due to ingredient splitting. Also when we go for our walks his first stool is firm but his second one is less so but still better than I was getting on the other dog foods.
Are there other foods I should try or should I just stick with Nutro provided no problems come up?

Have you tried BARF? (Biologically Appropriate Raw Food)
My frenchie has allergies and since he had to have over 16 teeth removed, he couldn't chew the dry food. I buy a Swedish brand but im sure there are options were you live. Its frozen "burgers" made of raw meat and bones, ground to a minced meat, and a little veggies. It does not contain gluten and helps with both digestion, skin, and ear issues.
