Hey all, as more and more people start creating deepfakes, I was thinking we could start up a discussion about what new people should know as far as choosing models, scenes, lighting etc... Basically, anything not related to the actual technical process of making fakes (although certain technical aspects could be mentioned).
All users can participate, but I think creators with a good track record of making convincing Deepfakes input would be most valuable.
To start the discussion, from what I've seen is that model likeness to celeb is super important. However, the caveat to this would be if the models head shape matches up as well. Many pornstars look like celebs already (ex. Lela star, Anetta Keyes, etc...) Which does helps sell the fake most definitely... Unless the celeb has a head size larger than her body and the pornstar is the opposite (small head, large frame).
I'm curious to find what tips others would give to aspiring deepfakers...

I don't wanna be a bother, but I wanna start contributing so I thought maybe there could be a video tutorial or image tutorial, focus on the selection of good training material, examples of bad faces, not choosing duplicates, etc, since Ive been trying different models and have not gotten a great result, kinda got a half decent Emma stone, just to realize someone had used the same video and gotten it perfectly, so I must have used bad training data.

Great idea. I'd say you should ask fakers whom you like, or experienced ones like unobtrusivebot, cercius, cymbidium etc ... They might be able to contribute. And if they could leave tips in this thread that would be cool
